Children’s Pyjamas

Children’s Pyjamas are the be all and end all of children’s wardrobe’s, we all know that the things that influence children are from the people around them or the things they see on T.V and what a selection of programmes they have to watch! Can you remember your own pyjamas? You of course had your favourites, you had ones with your favourite characters on, if you were a girl you had your pretty ones, your comfy ones, your all in ones, in fact my pyjama pile now isn’t dissimilar.

As with all children’s clothes you have to remember that they won’t be lasting long, children seem to know when you’ve just bought new clothes and therefore have a growth spurt. It’s important to buy clothes that are reasonable in price but good quality material but also that the children love, bedtime for some children and parents can be an absolute chore, therefore to aid the thought of bedtime start to include your child in more of the decisions, or at least let them think that’s what you’re doing. We all love the ease of internet shopping, and a good way to aid bedtime could be to sit with your child and let them pick their favourite pyjamas, let them be excited about what it is they’re going to get to wear to bed, you could even get matching ones! If that’s not an incentive for any child to get into their pyjamas to see their mum/ dad in the same as them then I just don’t know what is. I appreciate this is a basic idea and won’t work for all children but with something as fun and comfy as pyjamas I think it’s worth a try.

Children’s Pyjamas are not on their own, like any females daytime outfit there are accessories; with Children’s Pyjamas you also have to think about slippers, which ones will your child be able to walk in, keep on their feet, and just keep their little toes warm. Then there’s the dressing gown, also to choose a favourite character one or favourite coloured one or one shaped as an animal in the hope that this will spur them on to actually wear it.
