A dog run is a fenced area that is big enough for dogs to run around in and get some form of exercise. The aim of the dog run is to keep them in a confined space for safety purposes, people use dog runs in their homes, especially when they are absent from the home. Some say that it is a more humane way of keeping dogs confined, as some dog cages and kennels can be too cramped for them to move about and get much needed exercise.
