Most of us own at least one pair of jeans; in fact most of us probably own more than one pair. Jeans are fantastic because they are so comfortable and durable. In fact the denim in them becomes more comfortable the more the jeans are worn, so often our favourite pairs are the oldest ones.
Jeans can be worn to almost any occasion as long as you buy them correctly. It can be so easy to go into a shop, see a pair of jeans in our size, buy them and leave. Whilst this is fine for every day jeans, you won’t get the best fit for your body shape this way. We are all built differently which means that the clothes we wear will fit differently. In order for something to look its best on you, you need to pay attention to what you are wearing and the shape of your body.
Any jeans guide that you see online will tell you to follow a few simple rules. If you are curvier then it is best to get wide fitting jeans with a large emblem on the back pockets as this will help to disguise your shape. If you are slimmer then you need straight fitted jeans.
It is also about shopping for the occasion you are going to be wearing them too. If you are wearing them dressed up with a fitted shirt and heels for example then you are probably going to want to spend a little more on them in order to get it right. Whereas if it’s simply to wear during the day then cheaper supermarket jeans are fine for you.
Whatever you go for you should find that jeans are long lasting and wear well. This is probably the reason why many people don’t mind spending a little more on the jeans that they buy, because they know in the long run they will get fantastic value for money.
When it comes to choosing the ones you want, you should also pay attention to the colour and shade of the denim and make sure it’s going to match what you are likely to wear it with.
